Safe With Me Doula Services is a trauma-informed, family-centered doula practice serving pregnant, birthing, and postpartum families with compassionate, evidence-based support. Founded by Mari Rangel, a certified full-spectrum birth and postpartum doula, certified lactation specialist, and childbirth educator, our mission is to ensure families feel informed, supported, and safe throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

We provide continuous emotional, physical, and informational support tailored to each family’s unique needs and values. Services include prenatal education, birth support, postpartum care, and lactation support, with a strong emphasis on informed consent, advocacy, and respectful, culturally responsive care. We work collaboratively with medical providers and empower families to navigate their options with confidence.

Safe With Me Doula Services proudly serves clients across private pay and insurance-based pathways, including Illinois Medicaid and Carrot Fertility benefits, and offers flexible payment options and sliding-scale support to increase access to care. At the core of our work is a belief that every family deserves to feel heard, respected, and supported during one of life’s most transformative seasons.
